The GP38-2 locomotive features the same drive found in Atlas' basic Master Series locomotives, five-pole skewed armature motor with dual flywheels, separately applied hand rails and end railings, true scale dimenions with accurate details, realistic die-cast underframes, and AccuMate couplers. Freight cars feature true scale dimensions with accurate details, weighted and detailed underframes, AccuMate knuckle couplers, trucks equipped with free-rolling metal wheels, clear window inserts and separately applied side railings. True-Track features include Code 83 Snap Track with realistic roadbed and accurately sized and spaced brown ties with staggered spike detail just like the real thing. Easy to use with quick set-up. Ready to Run! Track can be removed from roadbed if desired.
